October marks the start of the holiday season with the big three coming right up: Halloween, Thanksgiving, and, to close it out with a bang, Christmas. Now, while Christmas is supposed to be the most cheerful time of the year, this holiday marked primarily by gifts can become quite daunting for parents and caregivers alike who cannot afford the latest toys or fun things that their children are enthusiastically anticipating – especially those who face overwhelming medical bills from their children being hospitalized.
Luckily, in our community, Arkansas Children’s hosts their annual Festival of Stars Toy and Donation Drive to provide joy to their patients and families! This campaign is a statewide toy and donation drive and radiothon hosted each year in December. They believe that the “thoughtful support of Festival of Stars will champion children at Arkansas Children’s through the holidays and beyond!”
At Berryhill Insurance, we make it our personal mission to support our community in various ways through our cause campaigns. This time, we’ll be partnering with Arkansas Children’s specifically to aid their efforts in making the Festival of Stars Toy and Donation Drive as successful as possible!
